We live in a world today with so much bad news. Global pandemics, wars, starvation and exploitation. It seems crazy these things can still be happening in the 21st century.

At the heart of the problem is the problem of the human heart. There’s something fundamentally broken in all of us that needs fixing. This is why Jesus came announcing ‘good news’. He explained that by placing our trust in him, turning away from what we know to be wrong, and inviting him into our lives to lead us, we can experience forgiveness, and discover a different way to live, a way that God wants to bless and be involved in.

This may be very new to you. Perhaps you’ve never even considered the possibility of a God existing, let alone one who wants a relationship with you. But this is possible, if only you’d be willing to put your faith in him. Still not sure? Then why not check out Alpha, an 11-week course exploring the questions & meaning of life through the lens of the Christian faith.

Better still, pop along to one of our public Sunday meetings & find out for yourself what a Christian community is all about & more importantly, meet the God we love and serve. 10.30am at the Oasis on Beacon Road, every Sunday. We'd love to meet you!

Perhaps even now you’re ready to say ‘yes’ to Jesus. Then say this prayer & begin the journey to faith in the Saviour of the world:

Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin & death, to restore me to Father God. I choose now to turn from my sins, my self-centeredness, & every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you. I give myself to you. I receive your forgiveness & ask you to take your rightful place in my life as my Saviour & Lord. Come reign in my heart, fill me with your Holy Spirit, & help me to become a person who is truly loving—a person like you. Restore me, Jesus. Live in me. Love through me. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

If you said that prayer it’s really important to tell someone who can help you in your next steps of faith in Jesus. We’re here to help so please get in touch.
